Bases provide support for the air terminal (lightning rod). We will help you decide which bases are needed for your project. Universal Bases

For use with 3/8" copper air terminals. Cast bronze base has two lightning rod holes so that it can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Fasten to surface with adhesive or screws. Weight- 13.4 oz.

For use with 1/2" copper air terminals. Cast bronze base has two lightning rod holes so that it can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Fasten to surface with adhesive or screws. Weight 13.4 oz.

Straight Point Base

Heavy cast bronze straight lightning rod base for use when cable extends in line with the lightning rod. Use with 3/8" copper lightning rods and primary copper conductor cable. One end is drilled and tapped to receive the lightning rod - one end connects the cable. Two 1/4” set screws used to secure the cable. Use on large round structures. Weight- 5.8 oz.
